NCCC Members,
I hope this message finds you well, and both you and your families continue to be in good health. I know this has been a challenging time for everyone, especially as we’ve had to socially isolate ourselves during the coronavirus outbreak. I know I’ve missed seeing you at our club functions, and I look forward to a day soon when we can get back together again in person.
In the meantime, we wondered what could we do right now that would be a nice distraction for everyone? With a little research, a few emails, and some practice, we now have a workable idea: Virtual club competitions. We’ve successfully completed a few competition testing sessions online, and I’m happy to report we’re good to go. We’re planning to use the online virtual conferencing app: “Zoom”, and have also secured the judging services of John Bruno for our rescheduled March and April competitions.
Please see the updated schedule below for important details, and stay tuned for competition invites in the coming days. I hope to see you for our first ever virtual competition next Wednesday, and continue to be safe out there!

NCCC Updated Schedule for April:
· Wednesday, April 8th
Alan Agdern’s workshop that was tentatively moved to Wednesday, April 8th has been canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak. No makeup date is anticipated for this season.
· Wednesday, April 15th
We are pleased to inform you that we are planning to hold the rescheduled March Competition online via Zoom. Our judge will be John Bruno, and we’ll be hosting the competition virtually. I’ll be sending out an invite / instructions for you to attend the competition on Monday, April 13th.
· Sunday, April 19th
Images are due for the upcoming April competition. The normal deadline has been extended to accommodate the many changes to our event calendar.
· Wednesday, April 22nd
We will be holding our April competition online, and John Bruno will once again be judging the competition. I will be sending out the invitation / instructions to attend the competition on Monday, April 20th.
